| A historian and sociologist James D. Cockcroft has lived and worked in Mexico for many years. He was an editor of Latin American Perspectives and the author of Intellectual Precursors of the Mexican Revolution (1968), Iran in Revolution: The Political Economy of Liberation (with Thomas Ricks, 1983), and many other books. He is at present director of a team research project on migration and border problems based in the sociology department at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Azcapotzalco in Mexico City. |
